Jacquelyn

I gave my life to Jesus when I was six years old. I was playing outside when I felt the overwhelming love of Jesus draw me close to His heart. It was then that I surrendered the only aspect of my life I understood at that time– my eternal destination. There was no doubt in my mind I would spend my eternity in Heaven from that moment on.

However, I didn’t understand it would take more than surrendering my eternity to God if I were truly going to live a life in the freedom of Christ.

Years of bitterness, rejection, betrayal, resentment, anger, and revenge would soon lead me down a path so low, I would be forced to confront the darkness controlling my soul.

Through the magnificent grace of Jesus, my life began to unfold in mysterious and unexplainable ways as I started surrendering the areas of my life that kept me in bondage. My Father in Heaven has been drawing me close to Himself ever since, and the life I once thought I wanted has been replaced with the most abundant, exciting, and indescribable adventure with my King!

In a wild, amazing story of itself, my husband and I were arranged by our Abba Father to be married! Without knowing each other personally, we knew God had specifically chosen us to be together as husband and wife. What an exciting adventure it has been! He is my forever best friend and our effortless partnership still leaves me speechless.

We have a growing family of small children and the joy we find within our home surpasses anything we have ever experienced.

Marriage and motherhood truly are gifts from God!

Though public speaking has never been a strong skill of mine, the Lord has provided many opportunities for me to impact the lives of others through speaking arrangements. From youth groups, to women Bible studies, business events, and public education groups, God has been faithful to strengthen my weaknesses and qualify my skills in partnership with Him. What once intimidated me, has now become a strong passion in my walk with Jesus!

Not only have I been blessed to mentor young Christian girls since I was sixteen through Bible Studies and mission retreats, the Lord has also been faithful to open doors to youth outside the realm of Christianity. As a mentor to young girls in the Foster Care System, and an influence to the many lives the Foster Programs touch, my life as a mentor has been rich and abundant. After only six months of working alongside the counselors and case workers, I was nominated for the Mentor of the Year Award.

My passion in life is to impact the lives of women and girls by being a living example of what it looks like to be fully surrendered to Christ, and to walk in His freedom daily!
